Handleless L-shaped kitchen in graphite

Graphite, handleless, and the old oak pulls warmth along the whole run.

Matt graphite on the fronts, old oak on the worktop, splashback and open shelves. The planes stay calm — the wood keeps the room warm.

L-shape: cooking and washing-up on the work run, tall wall with the oven at eye level. The corner joins both legs without breaking the walkway.

AEG induction with downdraft in the worktop, oven and fridge in the tall wall, dishwasher fully integrated. Sink and tap in black against the dark fronts.

Result

A living kitchen that stays handleless and clear — graphite as the line, old oak as the warmth, technology where you need it.

Project overview

Graphite, handleless, and the old oak pulls warmth along the whole run.

The fronts are Häcker TOP SOFT in graphite, matt lacquer, with no knobs and no bar handles. Worktop, splashback and open shelves follow in old oak — the same grain, from the window wall into the corner. The carcass stays quiet: graphite outside, crystal white inside.

The L-shape puts cooking and washing-up on one run. The tall cabinet wall takes the oven and cooling at eye level. Closed wall units sit over the worktop; next to them two open oak shelves keep glasses and everyday pieces in reach without breaking the fronts.

Planning concept

The corner carries the kitchen: a corner base unit joins the long run to the tall wall. You cook at the 83-centimetre hob; you wash up beside it, not in the way. The oven sits in the tall wall — no bending under the hob.

Drawers under the hob take pots, with a cutlery insert in the 90-centimetre carcass. The dishwasher disappears fully integrated behind a graphite door. On the tall wall a brushed-graphite C-profile marks the vertical joint — function without a surface-mounted handle.

The worktop is 2.5 centimetres thick, with a thick edge in the same old oak. On the long run it goes extra-deep so the surface in front of the splashback is actually usable. Open shelves sit at splashback height and keep the wood line going where a door would otherwise close it off.

Materials

Häcker Concept130, TOP SOFT front programme: graphite, matt lacquer, handleless. The planes read as one surface; the C-profile on the tall cabinets does the opening without splitting the front.

Worktop and splashback are old-oak décor, horizontal grain. The splashback runs as a continuous wood field behind hob and sink. Open shelves in the same colour continue the line on the wall.

Plinth in graphite, 12 centimetres. The floor stays light porcelain stoneware — light against the graphite, calm against the oak.

Appliances & products

In the worktop sits an AEG induction hob, 83 centimetres, with an integrated extractor in recirculation. There is no hood over the run — the view stays open to the splashback.

The AEG pyrolytic multifunction oven stands at eye level in the tall wall, black glass. Beside it the Electrolux fridge-freezer, fully integrated behind graphite. The AEG dishwasher sits in the run, also fully integrated.

The wet zone is black: BLANCO ADIRA SILGRANIT sink, plus the BLANCO LINUS-S in matt black with a pull-out spray. Black LED strips under the wall units put light on the wood, not on the fronts.
