Project overview
This kitchen is a straight run on the wall, with a small freestanding island in front. The run holds cooking, washing up and appliances; the island stays work and storage space without a hob.
The fronts are white and matt. Silver handle rails sit on the base units. The worktop — on the wall and on the island — is a light wood décor. The niche behind the run stays white, without an extra splashback panel.
The oven stands at eye level in the tall unit wall. A black built-in microwave sits in the wall units. An LED strip sits under the wall units.
Planning concept
The run keeps all wet and cooking functions on one wall. Tall units with the oven on the left, then hob, then sink. The island stands parallel in front: two cupboard doors, an open shelf under the worktop.
Three drawers sit under the hob; the top one holds a cutlery insert. The island takes extra volume without blocking the route to the sink.
Materials
White matt fronts. The base units open via silver handle rails; the wall units stay without applied handles.
The worktop is a light wood décor with visible grain, the same on run and island. The edge is straight, without a lip.
The floor is large-format light tiles.
Appliances & products
The hob is an AEG induction field — the logo sits on the front glass edge, the field has a slim stainless-steel frame.
The oven in the tall unit wall is also AEG, with a stainless-steel frame and black glass front.
