L-shaped kitchen with extra-deep worktop

L-shaped kitchen in white: handleless, dark worktop, oven under the hob.

White matt fronts without applied handles, plus a dark worktop with a low upstand at the wall. The wood floor keeps the contrast warm.

L-shape: tall unit on the left, cooking zone on the long side, sink around the corner. One wall unit sits above the hob.

Induction hob in the dark worktop, AEG oven beneath. Sink in stainless steel, tap with a high spout.

Result

A light L-shaped kitchen with little build-up: one run cooks, the other washes, the tall unit takes the rest.

Project overview

This kitchen is an L-shape in a light room with a wood floor. A tall unit stands on the left, the long run holds hob and oven, the sink sits around the corner.

The fronts are white, matt and handleless. The worktop is anthracite, with a low upstand at the wall instead of a high splashback. Above the hob hangs a single white wall unit with LED underneath.

The oven sits under the hob, not in the tall unit wall. The appliance front carries the AEG logo.

Planning concept

The L-shape splits cooking and washing across two legs. Anyone cooking stands on the long side; anyone at the sink stands around the corner. The tall unit closes the run to the left.

One wall unit is enough above the cooking zone. The rest of the wall stays free — less build-up, more light.

The worktop on the cooking side feels generous in depth compared with a narrow standard run. An exact measurement cannot be read from the photos.

Materials

White matt fronts without applied handles. The handle recesses are horizontal.

The worktop is dark and carries a slim upstand in the same colour. The wall above remains white.

The floor is light wood in a plank look.

Appliances & products

The hob is black and sits flat in the worktop. A brand is not clearly readable on the photos.

The oven beneath is AEG: black glass front, stainless-steel handle.

The sink is a square stainless-steel bowl. The tap has a high spout in stainless steel.

FAQ

Who is this project for?

For a room where two walls are enough for the kitchen and the oven may stay under the hob.

Which kitchen layout was chosen, and why?

An L-shaped kitchen. One leg cooks, the other washes. The tall unit takes the storage that the short run does not have.

What are the key material and appliance decisions?

Handleless white fronts, dark worktop with a low upstand. AEG oven under the hob, stainless steel at sink and tap.
