Kitchen with character
25 August 2026

A kitchen with character – modern, warm and anything but standard.
Olive-green metallic polymer glass meets real-wood veneer with a brushed groove structure. The mix feels calm and high-end, and still brings real personality into the room.
On top of that, a NEOLITH ceramic worktop in Calacatta Roma – in a striking 4 cm block look. Light, elegant, and a strong contrast to the darker fronts.
The specification holds up too: BORA Professional cooktop extractor with Tepan, Miele oven, Miele coffee machine, Miele Professional dishwasher and BORA fridge.
Result
A kitchen that not only looks good, but feels like home – clear in design, warm in effect and technically very strong.

Planning concept
The kitchen lives from the island: cooking, Tepan and extraction sit where people gather. On the wall the sink stays in the light; the tall unit takes oven and coffee machine at eye level. The room stays open – and every zone has its moment.
Häcker systemat carries the fronts. Olive-green metallic polymer glass on the base run and tall unit, real-wood veneer with a brushed groove above: warm, calm, with character. Gold-tone handle rails and the vertical bar handle on the tall unit keep the line clear without breaking the surfaces.
Materials
Olive-green metallic polymer glass – not quietly matt, but with depth. The real-wood veneer above has a brushed groove that plays with light and shadow. Between them, NEOLITH ceramic in Calacatta Roma, four-centimetre block look: light, elegant, a strong contrast to the darker fronts.
The worktop rises as a splashback and sits on the island in the same thickness. LED under the wall units and in the handle groove traces the materials. The floor is herringbone parquet – warm against the green, light against the ceramic.
Appliances & products
On the island: the BORA Professional cooktop extractor with Tepan. Cooking and searing without a hood in view, extraction in the worktop. The Miele oven and Miele coffee machine sit in the olive-green tall unit, black, at a comfortable height.
Plus a Miele Professional dishwasher and BORA fridge – integrated, not as soloists. The technology is where you need it, and keeps the kitchen visually calm.
