This kitchen project brings together modern Scandinavian design and everyday usability. It was planned for the VISTA M house type by the DORNIEDEN Group. Warm fine oak, light fronts and a limestone look create a calm, high-quality atmosphere with a timeless effect.
The planning highlight is the mix of discreet applied handle rails and integrated grip recesses on the tall units. The rails give ergonomic comfort and a clear line; the recesses underline the calm, minimalist architecture of the kitchen.
The result is a reduced look with maximum functionality — modern, liveable and lasting at once. These are the details that make Scandinavian kitchen design so popular today.
Technically the kitchen is fitted to a consistently high standard — intelligently integrated appliances, practical storage and atmospheric LED lighting.

Planning concept
The L-shape turns the open VISTA M layout into living space: sink under the window, cooking on the long run, oven in the tall unit at eye level. You stand in the light, routes stay short — and the centre of the room stays free to live in.
Wall units up to the ceiling take every centimetre of storage. Next to the window, open shelves stay light so daylight and the view outside remain part of the kitchen. Drawers sit under the hob instead of doors: pots where you need them.
Materials
Warm natural fine oak on the base run and tall unit, with a lively vertical grain. Above it, light handleless wall units keep the kitchen bright and let the oak speak without overpowering it.
The worktop runs through in limestone look and rises as a splashback up to the wall units. A calm, high-quality band between wood and white. Light floor tiles keep the grey worktop warm rather than cool.
Discreet applied handle rails sit on drawers and doors of the base run: easy to grip, visually quiet. On the tall unit you reach into integrated grip recesses — the same kitchen, two elegant ways to open.

Appliances & products
A black AEG induction hob in the limestone worktop, a slim extractor under the wall units — technology that disappears into the run instead of dominating the room. The AEG oven stands at eye level in the tall unit: comfortable, present, no bending.
The BLANCO sink sits under the window: white, with a slim chrome tap, washing up in daylight. The niche in the same limestone look as the worktop. LED above and below — bright through the window by day, atmospheric on the worktop at night.
